What does this mean? We offer two distinct options.
FORENSICS AS A SERVICE
We have seen that many events that should be investigated are not. Why? Resources! Doing an in-depth investigation to find out; who, what, where, and how are expensive and require many skill sets that are not common in the normal IT/MSP environment. Hiring and training extra staff to get a set of skills required to handle forensic investigations are not an option for many MSP’s and consulting firms. We want to change all of that and open new forms of revenue to our partners.
We have spent a lot of time and resources to create a specialized team to handle any situation. We work closely with local law enforcement, Department of Homeland Security (DHS), FBI, and United States Secret Service (USSS). Now our partners can benefit from our relationships and expertise.
We can also assist with all the reporting of a breach with regulatory commissions. With all the new regulations such as DFS, California Consumer Privacy Act (CPPA), GDPR, HIPAA, and a plethora of others, it’s hard to know who to call and when. We can help with all of that and guide our partners and their clients through the tough times they face during a breach.
When should insurance get involved? When should law enforcement get involved? How long do I have before I must report the breach? Who do I report the breach to? What are the consumer rights? We got you covered and can guide you through it all.
Partners will get a forensics “Go-Bag” with all the software and hardware they need to start the forensics investigation. When the client experiences an event that requires an investigation, our partners will go onsite as they normally would in such an event.
Before any clean up has started, they will take a sterile forensic image of the affected machine. They can then send that into our team of certified analysts and forensic examiners. Our team will then carve out all the artifacts and evidence in a controlled and secure environment. The examiner will then create a professional report on the event that occurred and send it back to our partners. The examiner will sign the report with their respective certification without any company logos. Partners can now offer forensic services in house, without the extra staff or expensive and constant training that is required. We will also help with any court testimonies and trials when required. We charge one low fee to the partner for the investigation and the partner can then mark that price up to the client.
We handle the complete A-Z investigation. Our partners will refer the client to us.
From there we handle the initial assessment, the investigation and reporting directly to the client. Our partners will get referral fees from the entire amount billed to the client.
Even after the initial investigation is done, some cases get forwarded to law enforcement or they go to court.
Our referral fees go the distance. Our partners will profit from the first assessment to the close of the case.
